Meeting MLK is one of the greatest moments I will never forget.

I recall traveling with my Mother across country to Florida on the Greyhound bus. One time we missed our bus when we stopped to use the rest rooms. We would of probably been stranded at the bus station if it was not for a very nice gentleman and his wife that picked us up and let us stay over their home until the next day to catch our bus.

These folks were very hospitable. The man was a Reverend. He and his wife spoke about their mission in life which was to stop injustices against people of color. It was later on in life I was able to put it all together that the people who let us stay at their home that day was none other than the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the dear Mrs. Coretta Scott King. This was a phenomenal event for me to remember at the time of a little better than six years old. What a day in the life it was at that time.

It is truly a birthday present for you, from the past history of presidents to our present president. Happy Birthday MLK!
